Prognostics is about forecasting failure based on the historic and expected usage profile. nCode has developed a range of prognostic techniques that allows operators and fleet managers to really understand how their vehicles and assets are aging.The traditional approach to vehicle and asset maintenance is to service or replace after a set number of miles or hours. But we all know that off road miles are very different to motorway miles!
nCode has combined an understanding of fatigue processes, signal processing and accelerated testing to develop analytical approaches that can measure the damage a system receives during use. This allows relative damage to be readily compared across a vehicle fleet - letting the fleet commander deploy vehicles most suited for the mission.
