Internal Sales - Southfield, MI

The Internal Sales position will assist the sales team in the Eastern USA by proactively selling the annual renewable software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and processing software maintenance and annual license renewals
  • Proactive selling of nCode training courses
  • Lead generation
  • Qualify and process leads and phone sale queries
  • Ability to explain advantages/benefits of product to customers
  • Support of field-based sales team
  • Data entry, report generation in CRM (SalesForce.com)
  • Coordinate nCode Institute training needs (host duties, binder/manual assembly, shipping materials, credit card payment process via Head Office)
  • Perform other sales administration duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ plus experience in inside sales/lead qualification OR similar role
  • Engineering experience and/or technical background is advantageous
  • Adept at building relationships and creating an excellent rapport with customers
  • Proven ability to sell and qualify over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, SalesForce.com)
  • Strong organizational skills/ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable working proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player and be willing to assist wherever necessary
  • Willingness to learn

Computer Engineering Student - Starkville, MS

Position responsibilities:

  • Support QuickBase project/time management system
  • Correcting any known bugs
  • Adding new features for efficiency
  • Restructuring the organization of the application for better efficiency

Position requirements:

Senior Software Engineer - Southfield, MI

The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical leadership for projects associated with durability analysis and engineering, advanced methods of engineering data analysis, data measurement and health, and usage & deterioration monitoring of equipment.

Position responsibilities:

  • Project management: planning, tracking and reporting
  • Data measurement – field and/or laboratory
  • Data analysis – measurement, interpretation of results and reporting
  • Mathematical and statistical methods – to analyze and understand engineering data
  • Coordinate/conduct durability tests – including design, setup, calibration, run the test
  • Prepare written and oral reports
  • Work with team to respond to RFQ’s (federal and commercial)
  • Prepare data / information for customer presentations
  • Develop & promote the services and products to new customers

Position requirements:

  • US Citizen (Requirement)
  • Ability to qualify for DOD security clearance
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 15+ years’ experience in durability analysis, test, data acquisition, customer correlation, maintenance and/or condition based monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to work with servo controlled test equipment including real time control
  • Familiar with nCode products and/or equivalent engineering analysis software
  • Prior work on government contracts
  • Good network of potential customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel domestically – will involve spending approximately 2 weeks per month in Starkville, MS and 2 weeks per month in Southfield, MI

Applications Engineer - Los Angeles, CA area

Position responsibilities:

  • Understand customers’ durability analysis requirements
  • Demonstrate nCode GlyphWorks and DesignLife software to current and prospective customers
  • Provide technical support to nCode users, investigating requirements and proposing solutions
  • Mentor users on best practices when using nCode software
  • Present nCode software training courses for customers
  • Test nCode software releases for functionality and quality
  • Provide feedback to HBM-nCode product management on future software functionality
  • Other duties as assigned

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or civil
    3+ years of engineering experience in a CAE background or as a test engineer
  • 3+ years as a software application engineer (AE), interfacing with customers on software usage
  • Knowledge of engineering durability topics such as fatigue and structural analysis
  • Knowledge of durability and fatigue analysis software like nCode GlyphWorks, DesignLife, or FE-Fatigue
  • Knowledge of industry-standard FE analysis software like ANSYS, Abaqus, or NASTRAN
  • Knowledge of nCode products and associated technologies
  • Ability to listen to customers and understand their technical requirements
  • Good presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Interest in working in a commercial environment

Position responsibilities:

  • Liaise and build relationships with customers and provide a link back to the product team
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of relational databases such as Oracle/MySQL, including configuration, tuning and SQL performance, in relation to Automation needs
