Contracts Administrator/Facility Security Officer - Starkville, MS

The Contracts Administrator role is responsible for managing contract communications and delivering customer invoices. The Facility Security Officer role is responsible for ensuring that the Federal Team is in compliance with the Defense Security Services (DSS) agreements, including training, monitoring and reporting. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Contracts Administrator:
    • Manage contract information in QuickBase, plus travel and material 
    • Work w/ Engineering Director to compile monthly labor totals and performance reports
    • Compile and deliver customer invoices
    • Act as point of contact to the prime contractor for contract modifications
    • Track labor allocations for all contracts
    • Perform other duties as required
  • Facility Security Officer:
    • Act as primary point of contact for DSS Industrial Representative 
    • Maintain day-to-day oversight to insure compliance of Affiliate Operations Plan, Facility co-Location Plan, Technology Control Plan, Electronic Communications Plan and Visitation Procedures
    • Manage organizational security clearances in JPAS
    • Provide and track organizational security training
    • Perform information audits as specified in DSS approved facility clearance plans
    • Perform semi-annual security self-inspections
    • Support quarterly LLC board meetings regarding security briefings
    • Manage QuickBase visitor and face-to-face affiliate meetings

Qualifications: 

  • US Citizen (Requirement)
  • Ability to qualify for DOD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience with the US military is a plus
  • Prior experience in government contract administration and/or sales support
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and deliver results in fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills/ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Commercial Lawyer - Southfield, MI

We are looking for a US qualified commercial lawyer with admission to practice in at least one state and at least 3 years of professional experience to support the growing worldwide operations of our HBM Prenscia segment and also our hardware business in the United States. The lawyer will work closely with HBM’s Legal Counsel in Germany and other in-house lawyers. The primary place of work will be Southfield, MI.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, revise, negotiate and administer license agreements and other contracts, T’s & C’s and business documents
  • Global support role taking guidance from the operation leaders and from HBM’s Legal Counsel to ensure compliance with HBM’s corporate guidelines for contracts
  • Proactively keep contract templates up to date and in line with corporate guidelines and improve wherever possible
  • Improve legal processes and procedures
  • Claim Management (preparation, enforcement and defense of [contract related] claims of or resp. against suppliers, customers and other third parties in coordination with HBM’s Legal Counsel and the responsible operating departments)
  • Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of HBM’s ethics & compliance program
  • Maintain up to date records relating to ethics, fair competition and IT/IPR security for audit purposes 
  • Assist with other responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • US qualified lawyer with admission to practice in at least one state
  • Ideally knowledge of English and/or continental European law 
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience gained in an internationally operating company or in an international law firm that is focused on commercial law and software licensing
  • Sound knowledge of software law, IP law and commercial law
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • Document management understanding would be useful

Marketing Specialist - Seattle, WA

We are looking for a qualified Marketing Specialist, who will be responsible for spearheading the development, execution and ROI measurement of campaigns, programs and content supporting the company's aerospace and defense industry vertical. Working collaboratively with the marketing and sales vertical teams, this person will utilize their innovative marketing skills to build better online/offline campaigns by measuring, optimizing, testing, recommending, and implementing enhancements to drive brand awareness, demand generation, customer growth and ultimately sales revenue.     • Manage tracking/reporting of all marketing campaigns, program costs and investments, providing regular updates to sales director and marketing and a monthly ROI dashboard for the business and update regularly
