Software Engineer - Starkville, MS

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and configuring software applications, interfaces and dashboards, to support HBM nCode customer requirements related to sensors, data measurements, data processing and data analysis. The position is based out of our Starkville, MS office.

Position Type:

Full-time

Position Responsibilities:

  • Development of software applications for low cost data collection systems (Android, etc.)
  • Development of dashboards for nCode Automation on multiple user platforms (desktop, tablet, cell)
  • Development of software for low cost sensor implementations (current, etc.)
  • Development and configuration of data processing applications to autonomously transfer field data to back office applications
  • Generation of queries and report templates within nCode Automation to facilitate software applications and interfaces
  • Interpretation of data analysis results
  • Prepare written and oral reports on the software application and results
  • Work with federal team to respond to RFQ’s and prepare data for sales presentations and reviews
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • US Citizen (Requirement)
  • Ability to qualify for DoD security clearance (Requirement)
  • Computer Science/Computer Engineering degree or equivalent experience in software development (Requirement)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in software application development (Requirement)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with C#, C++ or Java
  • Experience with sensor and measurement equipment development (such as the Arduino platform), data acquisition, vehicle usage monitoring
  • Familiarity with nCode software products and/or equivalent engineering analysis software
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel domestically

Subject Matter Expert - Aberdeen, MD

Title: Subject Matter Expert – Vehicle Maintenance & Data Analysis

The Subject Matter Expert – Vehicle Maintenance & Data Analysis will be responsible for identifying equipment performance issues, health concerns, and cost savings through the interpretation of analytical results associated with usage, deterioration monitoring, testing and the design of equipment.  The position is located on-site at our customer’s location in Aberdeen, MD.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Interpret the results of data analysis to identify equipment performance issues, potential repairs and cost savings based on measured field usage data and diagnostic trouble codes, where the equipment is primarily military vehicles
  • Perform equipment diagnostics and testing to assist in the interpretation of analytical results
  • Assist in the investigation/development of analytical techniques for prognostics, diagnostics and condition based maintenance
  • Work with analysts, engineers, logisticians and maintenance personnel to deliver condition based maintenance results
  • Identify cost savings and equipment with potential maintenance issues using available tools, such logistics, diagnostics and usage monitoring systems (such as nCode Automation)
  • Perform analysis of measured data (field data, proving ground and/or test data) primarily within nCode GlyphWorks (data analysis tool)
  • Identify sensor and bus data measurements (vehicles/equipment) that relate to key component/system deterioration and performance characteristics
  • Prepare written and oral reports
  • Work with federal team to respond to RFQ’s and prepare data for sales presentations

Qualifications:

  • US Citizen (Requirement)
  • Active DOD security clearance or the ability to qualify for a DOD security clearance
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, logistics, testing, diagnostic procedures and/or vehicle usage monitoring
  • Expert in maintaining military ground vehicles and in their maintenance procedures
  • Adept with military logistic systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with nCode products and/or equivalent engineering analysis software
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Computer Engineering Student - Starkville, MS

Job Description:

The Computer Engineering Student will be responsible for low cost data collection and analysis and dashboard development.

  • Assemble & test mower data collection hardware and software 
  • Install data collection hardware on MDOT mowers
  • Perform data collection on instrumented MDOT mowers

  • CSS development experience
  • Web Authoring system experience

Account Manager- Southfield, MI

The Account Manager will be responsible for nCode software sales within a defined territory.  This position will be based in Southfield, MI.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy for territory-customer and market growth
  • Lead generation through marketing events, cold calling, etc.
  • Awareness and pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business
  • Develop calling and selling strategies for assigned opportunities
  • Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and territories
  • Actively involved in developing relationships with key users and management
  • Plan and execute customer visits and presentations to promote nCode awareness
  • Provide regular two-way communication between the customer and team
  • Maintain an awareness of, and respond to, customer needs
  • Develop and present quotations and proposals for nCode products and services
  • Utilize and document the sales process
  • Work closely with Application Engineers to provide technical support as needed throughout the sales process
  • Work closely with Marketing/Product Planning to produce corporate literature, mailings, market, etc. and product issues and enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or Computer Science degree + industry experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sales of engineering software systems to end-users
  • Proven ability to achieve assigned sales quotas
  • Highly developed and diversified communication skills and techniques
  • Some knowledge of nCode product operation and theoretical background preferred
  • Knowledge of fatigue, data acquisition and/or finite element analysis preferred
  • Understanding of customer’s engineering processes and corresponding software applications
  • High standard of professional integrity
  • Highly developed commercial awareness is essential
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Account Manager- Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA

Revenue growth within the Western Region territory through the ongoing strategic development of new accounts/markets and expansion within the existing customer portfolio. The Account Manager’s sales responsibility will include the entire range of the nCode Brand Durability and Fatigue simulation products and services within the assigned territory, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met.  This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sales of engineering software systems to end-users 
  • Proven ability to achieve assigned sales quotas 
  • Highly developed and diversified communication skills and techniques 
  • Knowledge/exposure of fatigue and durability solutions, data acquisition and/or finite element analysis preferred
  • A demonstrable track record in engineering software sales an advantage 
  • Understanding of customer’s engineering processes and corresponding software applications
