Engineering Analyst - Southfield, MI

The Engineering Analyst will perform data analysis for federal team projects associated with the equipment usage, health, deterioration, testing and design.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of measured data (field data, proving ground and/or test data) using mathematical and statistical methods primarily within nCode GlyphWorks (data analysis tool)
  • Development of analysis scripts as required
  • Generation of queries and report templates within nCode Automation (data management tool)
  • Interpretation of data analysis results
  • Perform analysis on combined data from different sources, e.g. usage, maintenance and cost
  • Prepare written and oral reports on the results
  • Work with federal team to respond to RFQ’s and prepare data for sales presentations

Qualifications:

  • US Citizen (Requirement)
  • Ability to qualify for DOD security clearance
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience in analysis and/or durability
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in durability analysis, test, data acquisition, maintenance and/or vehicle usage monitoring
  • Scripting or programming exposure
  • Familiarity with nCode products and/or equivalent engineering analysis software
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically

Inside Sales, Western Region - Southfield, MI

The Inside Sales person will help increase sales in the Western territory, by taking care of the renewable business base. This position will be based in Southfield, MI.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process software maintenance and CDS renewals
  • Lead generation through marketing events and cold calling
  • Qualify and process phone sales queries
  • Provide assistance in account management
  • Assist in Partnership Program customer follow-up activities
  • Qualify and process phone sales queries
  • Ability to describe product overview to customers/prospects
  • Proactive selling of training courses
  • Assist in follow up with existing customers on introduction of new product features
  • Complete customer procurement forms (complete vendor registration forms, delivery and follow up on credit reference forms, etc.)
  • Update and maintain sales database (Salesforce)
  • Work with Marketing on user group conference activities
  • Support of field-based sales team
  • Perform other sales administration duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ plus experience in inside sales/lead qualification OR similar role
  • Engineering software industry experience
  • Adept at building relationships and creating an excellent rapport with customers
  • Proven ability to qualify and sell a technical product over the phone
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, CRM System)
  • Strong organizational skills/ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable working proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with attention to detail
