You’ll be able to directly employ other applications, or run existing in-house algorithms or processes by calling scripts written in popular languages such as Basic, C++, Java, or nCode’s Command Language, nCL. You can then treat the most sophisticated of processes as a single step within GlyphWorks
Reducing screen complexity When the networked becomes quite intricate, as it will when multiple processes, logic branching, different display formats are wanted – just use the Super Glyph to help make the screen clear and less overwhelming.
It's easy to make a Super Glyph: just graphically select the glyphs you want to combine and click the 'make Super Glyph' button. Naturally, you can assign your own label to each Super Glyph.
As Super Glyphs can be nested, a process with 100 glyphs could be reduced to with only three – an input, an output, and the 'black box' glyph itself. Nothing could be simpler!
Encapsulating your processes The Super Glyph is actually much more powerful in concept than something just to reduce screen complexity! It can be locked-down and password protected such than users must use it as a black box to do a certain task, and in a way that has now been defined by you. For example, they must pre-filter the data by a low-pass Butterworth filter with a cut-off at 120Hz, and not one with 200Hz as they may have chosen for themselves.
