From scaling specific channels to recalibrate the raw data, through high or low pass digital filtering, through to the calculation of derived channels that, say, calculate the amplitude vector from three orthogonal measurements… there’s even a strain rosette glyph to simplify the process!

We provide a complete range of tools for analysis in the time, frequency, statistical domains – even some fatigue specific methods such as potential damage intensity and relative damage assessment come as standard. You can analyze the complete time history or interactively select portions using the cursor to zoom into a specific event then pan across the datasets.

Anomaly detection

It’s more than likely that data collected in the field will suffer from a variety of problems – such as drop-outs, overloads, drift and so on. But how can such anomalies be quickly spotted and corrected when they lie ‘somewhere’ in a pool of data with potentially hundreds of channels and gigabytes of samples? The Anomaly Detection module uses industry-proven algorithms to automatically hunt down and highlight those sections of data that need further investigation – before they compromise the analysis process and ripple downstream through the organization. The procedures not only automatically identifies the more obvious problems such as drift, flat-lines, spikes, overloads – but also abnormal variances between channels by employing statistical comparisons. Remove drift with a few clicks of a mouse! A spike and drop-out automatically detected on channel 2.

While visual fault detection on a few channels is easy – finding faults in 1000 is another matter!
